Does Google AdSense Make Sense for You?
Google AdSense is a way for web site owners to “monetize” (that is make money from) their web site. In brief when you set up an AdSense account, Google places small text ads within the structure of your web pages that are related to the text of your page. If someone clicks on the link, then you get paid, … a few cents. Sounds good for someone who has the passion to write their own Blog and help pay the costs, however if your aim is to sell your widget then do you really want ads for comparable widgets on your site.
My opinion is, if your site is a commercial site, offering products and services for sale then AdSense makes no Sense at all. The few cents you receive from a click could be many times more from selling your product instead.
